Some people just want to fit in, to belong, to be accepted, to blend, to look like someone else, to be like someone else, to be normal. But what’s “normal” anyway? And who defines that? Like many other adjectives, “normal” is full of subjectivity. Societies and their cultures and religions have always done and (unfortunately) will keep on doing a lousy job on categorizing and labeling human beings. So much time wasted that could have been invested on acceptance of human uniqueness, without analyzing, judging or defining what is “normal”. The world would be a much better place. Luckily the world has people like Andreia, who started acceptance from within, where all revolutions start, where it lays the power of self acceptance. To accept ourselves can be the genuine path to accept everyone. And that could change the world.
