Masks have been used since ever… To disguise, to be a different persona, to play a different role, to entertain. For fun, for pleasure, for excitement. Or as a protection from a society that still censures free expression of sexuality and banishes those who have the courage to do so. But in the end, a mask that covers a face doesn’t cover a person’s essence. The essence, the intimacy, the connection and understanding between a couple, prevails as something unique, beautiful and powerful to witness. It goes beyond all masks.
